The Goodwood Revival proved to be a memorable event for Roelofs Engineering, with our Ferrari 250 SWB delivering an outstanding performance and the Ferrari Monza showing clear progress following its recent engine overhaul.
The Ferrari 250 SWB qualified in an excellent P2, setting the stage for a thrilling race. At the start, the car made an exceptional getaway, accelerating off the line faster than any of its competitors to take the lead.
From that moment on, the 250 SWB controlled the race and held on to P1 all the way to the chequered flag, securing a fantastic victory. A superb result and a fitting reward for the work and preparation behind the car.
The Ferrari Monza arrived at Goodwood following an engine overhaul, and the improvements were immediately apparent. Compared with the Goodwood Members’ Meeting earlier in the year, the car showed a clear increase in performance and speed.
Unfortunately, fuel-related issues brought its race to an early end. The problem has since been identified and resolved, giving us confidence for the future.
With the Monza’s improved pace and the issue now behind us, we look forward to returning next year and giving the car another opportunity to show its full potential.
A race win for the 250 SWB and valuable progress with the Monza — another rewarding Goodwood Revival for Roelofs Engineering.
